I cannot figure out who drops these anymore. I have been killing Elite CL 87-90 Nightsisters and Rebels, and have only seen Poor and Good crystals drop. Do I need to get a group together to hunt the NS Elder to get a bloody Premium to drop?
Tried Krayt hunting with a few guildmates, and all we looted were scratched pearls and poor to select ones.

Its more likely that the good quality ones are a very rare drop, and you just have to keep on at it :(

So does that mean that they will drop from high level elite Nightsisters and faction NPCs? I am sure that the drops are quite infrequent and rare, but I just need to know what drops them, so that I may concentrate on killing those mobs. If anyone can clarify this for me, that would fantesticle.

You know, this *is* a good question. I've tried killing elite troopers around Theed and I get no premium crystals any more, just "quality" ones at best... they put them in another spot nobody knows of?
More than likely their just a LOT rarer than they used to be, say instead of a 1 in 50 drop, to a 1 in 1000 drop.
Back when premiums dropped a lot, I collected over 50 of them that I ended up selling at $5K a pop. I'm sure they are worth a lot more now. I remember getting most of my premiums from the Death Watch Bunker and Nightsisters on Dathomire. Since I switched over to Shipwright, I haven't needed to loot lately. Wish I could be of more help.

I haven't been looking for them in awhile, however I would always get them while killing the elite stormies on Naboo in Theed. I collected about 30 of them and gave away half. It seems as they are harder to find now, so I'll have to kill a few to see if anything drops. Good Luck with it.
