I have a lot of quests in east angmar. When u pass trough Malenhad, u reach some statues. But when i get near them, they kill me. How and what do i have to do to get past those statues ???
They are related to one of the epic books. Once you finish a chapter you will be able to pass through them. I don't recall offhand which one though so maybe another poster can help me out here.
Im only recalling from memory but its Book 6 Chapter 6, I'm pretty sure when you finish that part it allows you to pass beyond those statues.
Correct have a ! Or would you like some ? Maybe some nice ?
How about a valid (Or a fake) ID instead?? I just realized mine got thrown out with the trash so I get to stay in this weekend instead of going out bar crawling with a woman dressed up as a "Brick House"...
You will indeed be barred from travel to East Angmar until you complete Book 6 Chapter 6. Iirc Aragorn gives you the initial quest to contact the ranger in Aughaire to start Book 6. You can start book 6 even if you have not done books 4 & 5.
Not to spoil it any further but Book 6 is all about dealing with those stones.
Anyone been killed by the stone in Dun Covad (the fort west of Donnvail)? Is there a way past it (because I had finished 6.6)?
Did the statue insta-kill you? or were you attacked and killed by mobs in your depleted state? I have fought once near the statue and won't do it again (even though I lived that time). I have died once trying to escape mobs and statue's influence.
The statue killed me I was not engaged in a battle HP went down real fast too!!
I have completed all books through 8. I have been there before and didn't get wiped. That's why I was wondering if something changed? The toon I was playing is a level 50 and I have not played him for about a month and a half. I turned him on to try out the new lore-master lynx pet.
Of course, it also depends on the statue. There is a ring of them you have to finish the epic book before you can cross but there is another one way up near Carn Dum that gets me badly all the time as well. That the one in question?
