Ive heard mention in chat that there are some Halloween type quests going on in Bree. Does anyone know any facts about where they start or if in any other areas.

There is an Autumn festival going on in each of the four ethnic areas.

The humans are celebrating at the festival grounds North of Bree and up the hill from the ranger's cabin

The dwarves are throwin' a party in Thorin's Hall in the underground bar near the end of the long tunnel where the low level "water leak" quest is

The elves can be found serving refreshments and playing games right next to the settlement in Dullond

And the hobbits are drinkin' and dancin' at the Party Tree (where else would they be!)

Please. The hobbits aren't drinking beer JUST at the Party Tree. I'm surprised I could walk a straight line after joining the Tavern Inn League...

Are the festivities different at each place? Are the choices for token turn-in items the same at all area vendors?

And if there's a line can I avoid it cause my ingame time consists of 20 minutes at a time? :o

There's no line for most of the things, except for the Bree race where you can get a different horse than the norm (thought you have to trade in your old horse to get it, plus the race token). Also, the items at all of the barterers are the exact same... the only reason to go to all 4 is the 1 hour cool-down on pumpkin picking (Bree), Apple Bobbing (Shire), Geode Hunting (Thorin's), and Scroll Searching (Duillond). All in all, you get a minimum of 4 tokens, with an absolute maximum of 12 tokens for completing all of the events.

This guide was written by me and posted at my Kinship Deephallow Brewers website, pasted here to help also.

===============================================
Token games
There are 4 areas for this seasonal event and each is ran by a Games-master which can be found by the blue banners on your map. After you play the game, the item you won (scroll, geode, apple or pumpkin) will determine the number of tokens the Games-master will barter for. The tokens can then be exchanged at any Fall Festival Trader (found nearby) for housing decoration items. Each game can only be played once per ingame hour so you can run to another area and complete it while waiting. The locations are listed in the circuit order that I ran them by using the stable for swift travel, personal horse for a quick run, "Return to Thorin's Gate" skill and using the Kinship home travel.

Games-master locations:
Thorin's Hall in Erud Luin - Dyri (bar downstairs) wants you to gather a geode by clicking on the geode pile.
Duillond in Erud Luin - _____ (24.6s, 93.1w) wants you to grab a scroll by clicking on the scroll box.
Party Tree in the Shire - Sawlo Puddifoot (30.6s, 71.6w) wants you to bob for an apple by clicking on the apple tub.
Festival Grounds in Bree-land - Bess Forester (24.6s, 51.4w) wants you to dig up a pumpkin by clicking on the pumpkin patch.

The different Item qualities are:
Cracked Scroll (1 token), Well-written Scroll (2 tokens), _____ Scroll (3 tokens),
_____ Geode (1 token), Pristine Geode (2 tokens), Faultless Geode (3 tokens),
Small Apple[/b] (1 token), Medium Apples (2 tokens), Large Apples (3 tokens),
Small Pumpkin (1 token), Medium Pumpkin (2 tokens), Large Pumpkin (3 tokens).

Fall Festival Trader will barter for your tokens with these items:
Guide to a Cowbell (x1), Wooden Beaver Statue (x3), Giant Pumpkin (x3), Harvest Statue (x5), Goblin Statue (x5), Free Peoples' Flag (x2), Scarecrow & Sundial (x6).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other games
Each of the Festival locations also offer another game to keep you busy:
Thorin's Hall in Erud Luin - offers a dance contest.
Duillond in Erud Luin - offers a dance contest.
Party Tree in the Shire - In the Shire at the Party Tree, the Inn _______ is next to the Games-master and offers a quest to drink 6 beers at 7 different locations. The locations are (in order): Party Tree in the Hills, Plough and Stars in Brockenborings, Golden Perch in Stock, Frogmorton in Budgeford, _______ in _______, _______ in _______, _______ in _______. The quest is listed in the log under Festival but I cannot seem to complete it before the timer runs out or I loose connection halfway thru.
Festival Grounds in Bree-land - offers a horse race & you can also exchange your horse for a Harvestmath horse that looks camouflaged with autumn trees. Before you attempt to get a Harvestmath you will need to do 3 things: earn a token by winning a horse race, earn 6 tokens (as explained at the top) and trade in your current horse where you bought it and get a reciept. Then talk to the Fall Festival Trader and click on the type of horse you need.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a lot of information that may be missing and will be editted as its found.

Just to be clear, you can get a maximum of 12 tokens every time you do the rounds of all 4 locations.

You can repeat the process every hour.

And I didn't see it mentioned, but the tokens are no-trade, but the items you buy with the tokens are tradable, so go ahead and get a cute scarecrow for your buddy's front yard!

When I tried to pick a pumpkin it said I couldn't grab it because it will be bound. What does that mean?

It means that you can't pass it to any other character. It's that same as a "no drop" item. I'd bet it was just a warning that the item would bind on acquire.

Double click the pumpkin instead of clicking loot all.

Or right click on the pumpkin and choose the loot option.

Same thing will happen in the other three game locations (geode hunt, scroll search and apple bob)
