I just started making Lightsabers. Can anyone help me to craft the best one I can? I realize I should be using the best material I can afford but what else should I be doing?

Well you got your resources:
a 15 point L/S crafting tool
a 44. or if you really luck and know someone with a 45 point weapons crafting station.
A lightsaber Crafting suit, (most guilds have one or someone within that loan out said suits to jedi for crafting purposes)
Bespin port
A Luck Buff, as much other luck Mods as you can get on around the above crafting suit.
And a city with research/crafting bonus
