I'm an 'old ***' from a few years back and i was wondering if due to that whole level system now traders have to level up via killing jazz and questing?

traders still level up via crafting, no killing jazz or questing required

level a trader can be one of the eaisest if you pick the right one. you can go from 1 to 90 in 5 hours on strutcure one. that is if you have all the stuff before you start. a really good guide that i used is on the main fourms, that goes into detail what to make and how many and how much your gonna need. it will take a little time to prepare it but once you got it about five hours and you will be at 90.

Not anymore they nerf batted that, the crafters didn't like it once they got to master,

Of course the ones that wanted the nerf never never ever used the statue heads to level, not once ever ever ever!

Althou strutures can still be done pretty quick making ship chasiss, but this takes a lot of resourses!

as of chapter 6 you could lvl to 90 on one ent buff about 5 hours if you had the stuff to do it with and the right buffs. i had my alt gather the metrial that i would need and when i was ready my main respec to trader and sat down in eisly and grinded from 1 to 90 with no problems. the gungan heads were moved to 86 so you can't use that but you make fountians instead just takes a lot of water. i'll look on the main site and see if i can find the exact way to do it again.http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/posts/list.m?topic_id=251254
