So like, yeah.

If you've been keeping up with the brawl's official website, you should know that there are stickers that equip to certain people.

Anyways, as I was lurkin the internets tonight, I found this little happy gem:

Clicky

So yeah, NESS, LUCARIO, and JIGGLYPUFF. Are all confirmed for Brawl.

If you don't know, Lucario is a Fighting/Steel pokemon from Diamond/Pearl series of pokemon

Then again, if this little doodad is true, then that means that Mewtwo is probably gone. But, no one ever played as him, did they?

I don't get it. How is that confirmation of those characters being included in Brawl? Smiley: confused

Not like it matters anyway, Brawl is never going to be released. I already called it, Smash Brothers Brawl is the new Duke Nukem Forever.

Thanks a lot Whoads, I never expected to see find out brawl info here first. I was even planning on visiting smashboards right after Alla.

That little icon represents the characters who will gain a benefit when you slap it on their trophy. Only playable characters would have this feature, thus we know they are both in the game and playable.

It also does NOT disconfirm Mewtwo. There are several possible reason why he does not appear with the rest of the other pokemon: He was not fully implemented at the time the segment was record, he is not supposed to be affected by that sticker, he is a hidden character and thus it does not display his icon until he is unlocked. It is still up in the air for the bugger.

It is very unlikely he will not return given that he had a completely original move set.

I didn't think his moveset was completely original... his special b was a modified Samus blast, his down b was a different take on Jigglypuff's down b (imo at least), and there might be more, but I don't play with him so I can't recall. Smiley: tongue

Mewtwo's neutral b had many different mechanics than Samus' attack. Mewtwo's cause damage when you touched it as he was charging, had significantly more kick back for him, and floated up and down as it traveled.

Mewtwo's down b was disable, which required the opponent to be facing you. The first hit stuns and the second hit does knock back. Jigglypuff's move requires you to be within a character's model to hit, does extreme knockback on the first hit, and has significant lag.

Though by "original move set," I am saying he is not a clone character in the same regard as Mario and Doctor Mario, Fox and Falco, or Falcon and Ganondorf. If he was a clone character I could see the high possibility of him not returning, but he's not.

Would you really rather not have had them? They were thrown in as something extra, not planned and skimped over.

Good news though, Sakurai has said he plans to keep clones to a minimal for Brawl.
