Hi All: I am a new player to this game (playing the 14 day trial) and I like to asked some questions please?

1) How do you become a crafter to make armour, weapons etc, what devices do you need and how do you get the skill. Can you start become a crafter at the beginning space station?

2) Can you be a crafter when you are a Bounty Hunter or spy

3) Can you make droid armour for your character or any special type of armour for human?

4) Should I do all the quests in the space station before I go to another world? I try that and creature and enemy kill me real easy, I am at lvl 7.

5) Can you have more then 1 quest at a time?

Please let know and thanks for your help

1) you must select crafter when you create your character at the very beginning to be a crafter....or......you can talk to a profession counselor outside of a major starport and change your class to crafter once you have left Tansarii Station.

2)Sorry, only one class allowed. So it's crafter or BH, not both.

3)There are many types of armor. As far as *Special* armor goes, I would call that RIS armor or Mandalorian Armor. Do a google search for those to find more info.

4) This is up to you. Obviously the higher level you are when you leave the station, the easy things will be for you on Tattooine.

5) You can have as many quests as you can find open at the same time.

Good luck and enjoy SWG.

One more thing. As soon as you reach Tatooine start your legacy quest. It will help you reach higher lvls quickly and teach you alot about the game. And dont forget to do your 10 missions per day from the mission terminals. These will give you bonus xp to help you lvl up quickly.

Would say pretty much all they already have. Would just add that you cap at level 9 on the Space Station. Technically, you'll have enough for Level 10, but if I recall, I didn't actually level until I went down to the planet. Also don't remember if it kept adding my surplus experience (and so carried over) or if I lost the excess.

I recommend completing all the missions you are allowed to on the station, just for the money if nothing else. I had one character that was level capped, but I still completed several missions before leaving. Even if you are not interested in being a pilot, the space missions from the station are worth a lot of money, both in credits earned, but also all of the ship component loot. If you don't want to be a pilot, you can sell all of that loot.

Definitely get started on Legacy as soon as you are on the planet and at level 10 (in case you decided to go down before level 10.) I also recommend taking a break out of the legacy quests every so often to either level grind (such as spawn hunting) or doing the 10 terminal missions already mentioned. As you get further into the quests, it helps to be a couple levels higher than "needed." They'll still be challenging, you'll still get lots of experience, but you will find them going a wee-bit faster and easier.

Don't know what to say for you getting owned by the creatures on the station while you are CL7. I'm assuming you mean CL (combat level) and not just simply Level 7 (Traders and Entertainers are different than Combat professions.) Also, maybe you mean Gamma Station? Even level capped, my character could get owned by mobs in some of the deeper areas of Gamma Station. CL7 would be even harder.

I was about to give you a spoiler for the Legacy Quests, as advice. Decided not to. If you have problems when you get to the point, you obviously already know where to come for help.

OH OH OH BE A PILOT SPACE ROCKS!

No honest do pick up some pilot skills, its fun and if your thinking of having a crafter, its nice to have an outlet for damage dealing after getting your **** handed to you on the ground all the time lol.
