So, on the GameTrailers, they show a flash of the player select screen, while talking about the new players' abilities.

It's a fake picture, because Smash Bros. Brawl is the new Duke Nukem Forever.

Just face it. It's never going to be released. Nintendo is playing an awesome prank.

The picture is a confirmed fake. If smashboards weren't so incredibly slow I'd find the thread.

Some mostly confirmed information (not Dojo, but Famitsu and Sakurai quotes):
-Starting roster is the 23 we have seen on the Dojo, including Shiek and Zamus, but excluding Snake and Sonic.
-Wall clinging is a confirmed technique.
-The fatigue we heard about for PT occurs if one pokemon stays out for more than 2 minutes, which is why we never saw it in any of the videos. Once fatigued they become slower.
-Final Destination confirmed.
-Dedede seems to have the most powerful (knockback) move in the game. A fully charged side smash KO'd mario at 17% from the center of FD.
-If you do an aerial dodge at the moment you at hit it will reverse the attack (something similar to powershielding).

Various character information (best 3 refers to attacks with the most knockback and percentage refers to the damage it took to KO Mario from the center of FD):

[********************** never in my life played an Smash Bro game...whats with the big hype?[/quote]
There are many things that make the series successful.

1. The game is a cameo fest. You can play as many of the most popular Nintendo characters.

2. The game is very easy to get into. It is easily on of the least convoluted fighting games to be made, therefore anyone can pick up and play. Controls are intuitive and structured.

3. Somewhat spawning off number two, the game makes a great party game. Up to four players with a variety of items, stages, and match types. It takes very little time to set up and you can quit any time very easily.

4. While being easy to play it actually has a lot of depth in game play, and I'd argue more than any other fighting game I've played. Strategy is more fluid since there is no high-mid-low system, and fights are more dynamic with changing percentages.

I like brawl cause it's a pick-up-and-play fighting game. You don't need to memorize any stupid combos, you just need to know your opponent, stage, and how to utilize your abilities and items that appear on screen.

This is not the thread, but another I happened to find while trying to dig for the original.

A few of the highlighted problems: Luigi, WW Link, and Dark Samus artwork from known sources, Ashley being a character when she appears in the Warioware stage, and PT not being shown with the same icon as in the demos.

I also believe the roster is less of a fake and more a mock up that someone did based on desired characters, never intending to present it as real.

Edit: Another thread.

Also as a note the air reversal mention may have been a mistranslation simply for dodge. Also there are some inconsistencies with the a few of the character details listed before (such as kirby and metaknight being different weight classes but KO'ing at similar percentages). This is a direct translation of a japanese gaming magazine, so blame them for getting it wrong.

They are both pro level players, but I believe Ikki (queensaki) is more familiar with the game (as evidenced by his chain grabs) and the wiimote controls. Masahi did play poorly in those video, but in melee he is quite good.

This pic was posted on the VG Cats site claiming to be the official 40 character roster. Its a fake and its very good, if you look at the top left you can see Robocop and in the bottom row on the right you can see Duke Nukem.

See if you can spot the ultimate character.
