Bought this awesome game when it first came out, then frontiers. I never got passed level 40, even though i had 100 toons. So, I'm getting the game this weekend, will be on CLW and ready to kick some ***! :P

So can someone give me the heads up on what's going on?
I hear PLing is popular nowadays, I'm cool with that. I always missed out because I was always making new toons, so it wouldn't hurt to get helped leveled faster and enjoy the 80% I missed out on. I never raided or anything. :p

What's a good class to play? does it matter now or is it still be whatever, you're useful?

I'm excited to come back, I know it's died a little, but I believe it'll come back once some of these updates will come into play (whenever, however) :P

Let me know!

Welcome back! I have been in game off and on since the beginning. I have always felt the CLW server has plenty of people on at all levels. I think finding normal groups is easy. Finding a PL isnt always easy though at every level. I am sure someone is always 2, 3, or 4 boxing one of their toons though and could use an active toon to kill and loot to make it go faster. I would help you out, but my guild has a raid scheduled for Saturday on the Deso chain. I am guessing it will be all day. Feel free to mail one of my toons if you ever need help with something although I usually am just on during the weekends. Good luck to you!

Thanks man, will do. I'll probably need help because I haven't played in years. This is the best game ever, I'm so excited to hear there's life on it still. :D

I'm looking to have mainly a group toon, I wouldn't mind PL's along the way for my first toon. I really want to raid and get into a good guild and be active :D Does class and race still act the same, or have some got nerfed to the point where it's not even worth it? I want to be good for PL's, groups, and raids.

Best classes for quick leveling are always going to be aoe casters. Wiz and Alc are always good choices if you are looking to pl a lot. Finding groups is easy if you are agressive. just grab people off the lfg list, most of them will know good camps and such. the toon you make always depends on the rolls you want to play in a raid/group setting. healing is vital but boring, tanking is essential however costly and difficult. Damage is usually the easier job and most fun for some people. (imo) I like to be the center of attention though so tanking is my fav. All roles are equally inportant though. You cant kill raid mobs without damage/heals/support(power) and meat shields(tanks).

Bards are great grinding groups. They a little hard to play on raids because you can't do much damage to boss mobs due to their AOEs. Can always give your group power though. I'll be raiding this Saturday, but I should be on all day and night on Sunday. I would be glad to help you out on something you need. What level are you now?

Also, my guy keeps moving on himself..keeps twitching kind of. I tried to restart the ps3, controller and some other things but nothing. Is this a common problem with the ps3/sixaxis?

the char keeps moving by himself you mean? (not looking around)

if it's always in the same direction, then you're joystick probably gets a lil stuck in that posiiton. my cousins used to do that with his ps2.

that or there could be something sticky in there keeping it from centering all the way, which could cause the char to move in whatever direction the joystick is in.

for either of this possibilites, when the char starts moving, i would gently move the joystick toward the center, and see if that lil bit of recentering did it. if it did, then one of the 2 things i said is prolly what's wrong.

yeah, he barley jerks around. Like barley moves forward, looks like he's strafing. Sometimes it doesn't but usually always. It's annoying. I tried reseting things and what not, but nothing. Didn't know if it had to do with the ps3 controller/BC?

Also, almost level 17! Wouldn't mind a little help from the quests. :P
