Kicks *** so far. The first hour has been riveting, if I didn't have a Calculus exam tomorrow I'd be staying up late tonight to play Smiley: frown

The game play is great, I was hoping it wouldn't be a hack n' slash and it really isn't, you can select different commands by moving left or right on the menu with R1 and L1. The leveling system seems a bit complicated (DMW), but I haven't had a chance to do much reading on it yet so it might be easier than it first appears.

Graphically the game is amazing, I can't believe they fit it all on one UMD. The cutscenes are very well done and the actual game play is much better than anything else I've seen on the PSP (with the exception of maybe God Of War, they would be on par with each other).

Overall I'm impressed, I haven't had a ton of play time yet but it's off to an impressive start.

This game is just straight up sick. The FMV's are beautiful and the voice overs aren't all that bad compared to the JP version. The playstyle is outstanding and I just got the part where I can start creating my own materia. I am nothing but truly impressed with this game.

Just wait. I've gotten my HP+ materia to have a +150% HP bonus on it, you can take them way higher too. And since you keep it all for each play through the game, you can keep building and building until you have a god-like character.

Yep, you carryover your Level, Experience, SP, Gil, Playtime, Non-key items, materia, and DMW completion.
