So, taking a break from FFXI/ looking for a game to kill time with periodically, and a friend from work wants to play, also.
He played WoW awhile ago, but isn't up to pay a monthly fee.
Guild Wars I played once, and remember it being so~so, and was wondering if anyone here plays, and how it is now?
Is the game only PvP centered? Can a duo accomplish alot of things in it?

Any other games you might recommend, without a monthly fee? Preferably something that can be played casually, but still be enjoyable, and would like it if alot, if not most of the game, is duo-able.

I have the game, but haven't touched it in such a long time.

I'm mostly certain PvP is the main draw to the game. The PvE content I found extremely repetitive.

A duo should be able to accomplish a fair amount, more than many other MMORPGs, due to the availability of NPC party members.

This thread has a lengthy list of free to play games you can examine, but none that I could recommend specifically.

Fiesta is pretty fun.
And although It may not require subscriptions, if you want to keep up to date with GW, You'll pretty much spend the same amount on all the damn expansions they bring out.

Yeah, I browsed the list a bit.

Your upcoming Warhammer online game sounds interesting, from =28, for myself.

WArhammer will most definitely have a monthly fee with probably about the same duo ease as WoW/Lotro. It looks to be a great game, but if you're only looking for a game to play infrequently then I'm not sure you'd get your money's worth.

The fee-less game is to play with the co-worker. I don't mind paying for a decent game.

If you have any questions about the game, or would just like to generally know more about it I'd be happy to tell you about the game. And I'll try to do as little selling to you as possible.^^
