Has anyone played this game? i was looking through my wallet and found i had a giftcard for gamestop with 15 dollars on it, and this game+expansion is only 20 bucks. saw some vids, it looks like a new diablo.

I don't really like the whole "Birds eye view" POV. But it looks interesting none the less.
Played it and it was fun. The insane amount of bugs ruined for me, but the patches fixed them. I just lost interest.

One thing I didn't like about the game is the fact that you have 2 choices for Initial character...Generic Male or Generic Female.
Also make sure you read up about all the different spell trees, as after you have picked the 2, you're stuck with them, though you can unlearn the points you put into the trees, but you have to pay for each point.
Good game for Mythology Buffs (like me)

Yeah i've been reading up on the masteries, havent picked a second yet because im just not sure what i want. Already made an alt though. first guy was melee, gonna make a caster chick instead.
but so far pretty fun, damn near identical to Diablo. Even the music is similar.
It was okay. But I got bored after like 3 hours. I've spent more time playing any Slingo, Pogo, or reflexive game available!
My brother played it, said it was fun. It's a Diablo clone with a mythology skin.
For the price, it's a good way to pass the time.

Main beef with the game is that it seems to use more Memory than it should.
the graphics aren't all that great yet it uses more memory in that area than F.E.A.R. Extraction Point (On highest settings).

I agree. wth is up with that? Its amazing that a game like, say, guild wars (a very pretty game i think, at least its much prettier than titan quest) can run flawlessly on my machine yet this cant hold a steady frame rate. /shrug.
Still runs OK, just could be better. I think im like level 12 or so now and still havent picked a secondary mastery. Warfare + ??? I hear Dream is pretty good, so i think im gonna dive into that.

Go rogue as your second mastery, you get some mean *** attack power with that.

Already picked Dream. dream+war=Harbringer. works pretty good so far, some good life stealing.
Dream is the one from the expansion yes?
Dream + Fire = 2 AoE auras that do lots of damage so you can call forth 2 minions (1 from each mastery), put on the 2 Aura's and just walk around and kill things wihtout having to attack ^_^

of course i just made a fire+defense guy. probably should have gone dream there too :_(
that fire aura is OP though....
