At that level I think I spent most of my time around Tatooine shooting anything I could find, I found Tier 1 mobs were reasonable xp and really easy to destroy so you have less down time after that I moved on to Yarvin and Lok for tier 2 opposition.

I tried lots of ways of getting my pilot skills up but in the end I was convinced that mobs a couple tiers below your ship level gave the best bang for the buck in terms of xp per kill vs down time.

Sure you get half the xp of an even conned ship but you can kill 3 or 4 of them in the same time as it takes to kill an even conned ship with next to no risk to yourself.

Right your transfer sheet give that to your new trainer in Bestine. I think the guy your looking for is in one of the offices in the city hall. Anyway they should show up on the over head map.

Make sure you sign it 1st, they get a bit stroppy about thak kinda thing in the Imperal navy.

Anyway for your level tat, naboo, and corro are your best bets, try fill up one or 2 of your level 1 slayer collections, and work your way up as you, your equipment and your bird get better.

fastest way to level in space, is to do duty missions, specifically the kill missions, not only do they give good xp, but the loot rewards are good too. grinding in space is not a good idea until you have access to level 8 weapons/ship components. though generally you need about 1 million xp per box by then. not only that, but the tier 3 levelling is dependent on mission completion, not xp gained, just to confuse things... good luck in space anyway, and dont forget to get an entertainer buff for xp, precision, and critical strikes... not sure how effective they are, but worth having :D

Hi I've found that the best place to gain Space XP is round by the Kashykk Space station........look around for Mercenary freighters. there will 3 in a group, one medium and two light freighters, be very careful with the Medium freighter you have to get right behind him within about 75m and sit right behind his engines.......blast away, don't worry about the two light freighters as they have no weapons equipped, only the medium freighters have weapons and they can't touch you if your right behind the engine.
Each one of these 3 freighters will give you 5120 space XP points, so if you do the maths if you have a decent enough weapon loaded you can get 15260 Space XP every 10 minutes.
The three freighters spawn right behind Kashykk space station and no doubt by the time you've killed 3 of them if you spin around 180 degrees the next 3 will already be heading your direction.
once somebody taught me this XP Grind I made master pilot in about 2-3 weeks simply playing 2-3 hours a day.

Hope it helps.

(On the Naritus Server)
Feel free to send me a tell if your on this server and need help levelling up.
(I might even throw in a buff too. lol)
May the Force be with you

Don't forget to get an XP buff from your favorite local entertainer. The extra 15% of experience makes a huge difference...especially when you get into your higher pilot levels.

I find that if you do the duty missions you can steadily raise your level. It may not be the "fastest" way, but you'll get decent loot and decent cash along the way and it is pretty safe. Make sure to head to the trainer as soon as you have enough XP to advance.

You'll probably want to make some pilot friends along the way. Some of the later missions can get a bit hairy if you are inexperienced. I know my life got a heck of a lot less deadly when I joined an experienced piloting guild.

Good luck out there...actually, I take that back as you are an Imp and I'd rather blow you out of the sky than help you...

15000 XP every 10 minutes is very slow xp, a duty mission really does give a lot more XP than this, and no waiting for respawns either, you should be able to earn at least 250,000 XP per hour doing duty missions, the only faster xp that i know of is in naboo space, where there are a number of tier 5 ships that are on a fast respawn, but you need good skills to farm them, as they use missiles. as each of the last tier of skills needs 1 million XP to level up, personally i recommend the duty missions, and a decent entertainer buff - xp bonus, precision, critical strikes. etc. If you can't handle the last tier ships solo (any decent pilot should be able to though) then enlisting the aid of another pilot is definitely recommended.

to get good space xp travel to the dantooine system: dantooine's wrath or to kessel or deep space and kill enemys of the opposite faction to get alot of xp trust me i get like from 400-1600 xp per kill when i goto dantooine's wrath and kill imp pilots

NOTE: u must have a very good ship to goto these 3 locations,as the npc's there do alot of damage to normal ships
