So lately ive been getting back into the game. Ive gone back and reorganized my entir collection and have bought entir booster boxes for Morningtide andShadowmoor.

So am I the only person who plays??
Id like to get some game time in with apprentice or whatever.

Don't have Apprentice on this computer, and I have my cards and play maybe a few times a semester. Been meaning to make a new deck but I lack the money and the will since I rarely play.

This is a decision you will come to regret. I get that itch every so often, but then remember just how cracked out I get over that game and decide that I'm better off not playing it. Smiley: lol

Rinic and I are planning on making decks so we can randomly fight the meganerds at our schools.

Just remember, Control decks (Direct damage/counterspell shenanigans) and 1/1 Weenie decks are the quickest way to **** of most MTGers.

I started playing around Legends, but due to having kids i'm pretty much retired, i played until Kamigawa.

MTG has a special place in my life since I met my wife at a tournement.

Invasion block was imho the best time to be playing MTG, and Apocalypse booster draft was the single most fun type of play.

Urza's Block sucked as it took on average 6-8 turns a game if you played at anything like a decent standard.

The deck I want to build is a capsize/counterspell deck, I used to have one and I loved it.

I have a type I land distruction deck that makes Control obsessed players cry.

After 10 land smashes from turns 1-10 followed by Wall of blossom/ Stampedeing wildebeast beatdown, makes blue players weep like a red heded stepchild.

My deck is a green mana-surge deck. <3 my nut collector and gaea's cradle. By turn three, I have like, 3 6/6s out.

I used to run... I think it was a black/blue mill/counterspell deck. That always served well for taking care of my friends decks, but I never played professionally.

I run blue control alot. Im also a fan of a straight direct damage deck.

Good old capsize decks.
bout 9 years ago I had a Control deck with 4 capsizes, rewinds, counterspells, power sinks, ming blasts, Greater whales and Peregrine Drakes (Love those creatures, pretty much 0 to cast). Used to **** people off something horrible.

Now I run a counter burn deck, and a green white deck (Used to have Reya Dawnbringer in it, but sold her for $50. Now i'm about to put 2 Avatar of Mights into it Smiley: grin)

Nothing was more satisfying then getting Reya out on the 4th turn :D

Meh i call your 4th turn Reya and raise you at the end of your 4th turn Rout followed by a 5th turn Desolation Angel with kicker.

My game i think.

White/Blue Lockdown/Counterspell decks are awesome, as are Red/Blue Storm decks.

Black/Blue discard/draw damage/control

It has megrims + discard for that route
Underworld Dreams (opponents take 1 damage when they draw a card) + Tafari's Puzzlebox (at the beginning of draw phase player draws a card. Then takes their hand and puts it on the bottom of their library. Then draws that many cards.) + Wheel and Deal (Any # of opponents discards their hand and draws 7 cards, you draw 1 card.) Along with counterspells and edicts and other stuff I cannot remember.

I used to have a zombie deck that actually worked, but can't for the life of me remember what was in it.
I'm thinking about making a new deck soon with the unholy alliance of Black/White.

You know what 2 cards I reckon would be fun in that deck?
Black Vise and The Rack.

If you can tell me how to get this "Apprentice" program, I'll play with you...assuming it's a multiplayer thing.

I've been playing since Just before Kamigawa came out(I know, I'm a noob) and thoroughly enjoy playing a game here & there, a lot of people are very hostile towards me though because I don't spend that much money on cards and hence don't have many decks or very many "Amazing I'm gonna pwn everyone!" decks.

I do have a very good Green/Black Kamigawa Spirit deck, an ok mixed Black ******** deck, a decent blue/white Kamigawa spirit deck, and one of each of mixed ****** elf & goblin decks. I'm also working(for the past 2 years) on a nice mirrodin based control deck and a Blue deck with the goal of getting Door To Nothingness out and using it ASAP.
