Hey...my game isn't working. The launcher is stuck at "Getting Data Centers", then it goes into a countdown until next attempt...and never works. Also, the lord of the rings online site isn't working. so whats up? i dont pay good $$$ for this!!

Its now just you man. I think that Turbine must be having a few problems, or they're doing unscheduled maintenance. I was hoping to get in a quick quest or two before going to work, but looks like that won't happen.
Don't get mad about it just 'cos its down, its not like it happens all the time(this is the first time I've not been to connect since I joined). I'm sure someone's working to fix it. :) Relax, go outside and enjoy the weather(or not if its raining or something)

i fix it go to http://turbine.fuzeqna.com/lotro.support/consumer/kbdetail.asp?kbid=1346&SearchType=&referrer=&rfield=&usertype=&formaction=&keyword=&sortmethod=&subcats=false&match=and&status=&catID1=4&catID2=&catID3=&submitbutton= and add TurbineInvoker.exe to your internet security software that fix it for me i think

Everything is back up now. It was unscheduled downtime according to what Turbine wrote on the LORTO site. I haven't tried to log in yet though as I am at work now.

Because a majority of people who come to LOTRO are coming from WoW and they all they have same the childish mentality. People come here for fun, not to have a "My sword is bigger then your sword" pissing contest. If thats what they want then I strongly urge them to play something else.
BTW, my sword is bigger then yours.

Whoever this "Day"-adem person he sounds sexy. I bet he's also the kind of person who not only sees LOTRO and other Mmo's not just as games, but as fantasy realities that he can slip in and out of to experience life in a more unique way.
