RMTFollow

#1 Jun 28 2008 at 11:14 PM Rating: Decent
Think i spotted some RMT players in Angmar this morning on Laurelin server, CPt, Mns, Hnt, Lrm and Gdn all with no armour all anom and unresponsive to ingame tells, follow each other in a single line as if all on follow. Yes i could be making wrong assumptions, but there lack of armour and the way they behave made me suspicous.

I wont post there names yet, but i have reported these to GM's to look into. i'm watching them over the next few days, and will post a follow up of these guys.

If you want to see RMT, just go to the troll cave in the south of Taur Gonwaith in the North Downs. Almost always 5 or 6 of them farming trolls. At 12 silver a pop, that's pretty decent cash.

Dya does most everything naked...

...he does however belong to a kin.

I've heard that some classes will go into raids and what-not naked to save on repair costs (...healers).

I'm contemplating diving into the Rift next time around gearless. Whatya think?

Well I've known many healers and assist players (LM's, Capts, etc) that do this...and over all its not a BAD strategy...but it does have drawbacks. You may really need to depend on that extra pow/hp regen that you get from the fate on your gear, or even just the standard AC. So you may be burning through mana pots to keep up to with normal.

Now ideally in a good raid, you wont wipe that often. This is really no excuse. The basic rule is: If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. Anyway, if you have the bank space, perhaps just collect some "almost as good as what you're wearing" armor, that you can set aside specifically for those situations. Even if you just wipe enough times that you want to go to a bank and switch some gear out quick, and pay for your repairs later.

Just a thought.

You're on to something.

All that trash gear rots - could keep a set for one-time use in the rift. Rather then repair it afterwards - sell it.

Last time in the rift the first troll went berzerko on us. We fight him right at the dying-respawn point, so we just popped and kept fighting. Most of us died about 5 times (fortunately the rest of the raid went smooth as silk netting us mucho grande lootz).
