I'm not sure what chapter 7 has in store, but I wants it.
And Chapter 6, the instanced portion with Laerden, is all we're seeing with Eregion. The full zone will come with the expansion.

I finished up book 14 last night. My personal opinion was that the back half of 14 was easily the hardest of all the book content yet. I hooked up with a group while doing the chapter in the barrow downs and finished up with them about 3 hours later. We wiped once on 14.12 (but I found this instanced to be pretty fun), and partially wiped on the last chapter. All done:D

I also made four attempts at the new quest Defending Aughaire the other night. We were very close second time around but let tank die, losing agro to multiple mobs that then killed off the last two guards we needed to keep alive.

I found it rather frustrating that after one failed attempt (that didn't even result in death) people would give up saying they'd wait for others to figure it out first. So we had to keep refilling a group. >.< ...Anyone had success with this one?

we did a kin group to that one last nite. None of us had been there before and we didna have a clue....

Anyway, after 3 fails, we split into 2 groups. 1 champ in (Glory mode). 1 burg. 1 hunter in 1 grp, and a captain a hunter and another champ( in Glory) in the 2 nd.

We would all lay into the mobs that would attack the gate, and as soon as the next attack was announced, the Capt group would charge off, and start on the next attack. Whoever finished first would charge to the group that was still going, and if we were both finished, we would meet at the fire in the middle, drink ale and swap fighting stories and /fart and /belch a bit....

Worked like a charm!

We tried the one down by the dread line afterwards (forget the name) and that was MUCH harder...Failed 3 times. Will try some more tho cos they are fully challenging.

From what I've heard and seen, a balanced fellow is your best bet with the 3 battle instances. Champ, Guard, Burg, Hunter, LM, and Mini would be a good bet, or any other combination, as long as you've got good CC and heals.

I honestly thought Rammas Deluon was easier than Aughaire, even though we never finished either of them. You can easily duo or trio a defence (though that may be the same for Aughaire, we never tried it there) if you have any form of fear for the elite master. Drag the non-EM through the npcs, let them do some of the work. The healers will heal YOUR people, as well. Not just other npcs.

Anyways, once you complete a defence, and the Sorceress weakens, everybody (assuming nothing else is being attacked) should zerg her to the fullest extent of the word.
