That doesn't seem that impressive, especially considering the rest of the song.

Of course, at 100% speed it'd be a different story.

best I've done with that part on 100% speed is about 90% of it. This song hates life.

I suggest going to a local Arcade, try out BeatMania(insert version) by KONAMI. Play the song called "V", choose 7 Keys instead of Light 7. Click and hold start button then choose Hi-Speed 4. It has been reported by many players that the song clocks 1000+ notes/minute on 7 Keys + a turn table disc.

Rock Band... meh, tried it on Wii thought it was "OK".

I still favor KONAMI's GuitarFreaks, DrumMania, BeatMania over the clones... Rock Band, GuitarHero etc.

Yeah dude, if you really enjoy music type of games like GuitarHero or Rock Band etc. you should really find an opportunity to try out the originals designed by Konami.

If you want a challenge and eye opener, you gotta try BeatMania, GuitarFreaks, DrumMania. The musics on those are just fking amazing, of course they're not songs that you're familiar with like Rage Agast or Metallica but it's a whole other ball park.

Let me show you just a few videos of what I'm talking about:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-e7cpUIxq3Y
In this video, the song I was referring to "V" starts from 2:29. Also "Aurora" is not bad as well.

In this video, somebody is going Superman on "HappySky". He/she isn't hitting enough combos but then again who's got true Superman fingers? At 7:25 "One More Lovely" is also pretty extreme.

All right, now this is my all time favorite song "Star Field". It's not as hard as the others above, but it's just so fking bomb to play and listen to.

Anyway, I hope you check out all 3 of these vids and try the game itself if it is available in your area :)

Oh lol btw, this is why some people who had previously played Konami's music games then tried Rock Band, GuitarHero finds them silly in terms of difficulty comparison..

Oh yeah and here's some DrumMania and GuitarFreaks vids...

Song called "Himawari" on DrumMania. This is far from expert difficulties, if you want to check out the experts you'll have to dig through the vids a bit.

Same song "Himawari" but on GuitarFreaks. Again the difficulty is very basic, there are other extremely difficult/challenging songs but you'll have to dig through the vids.

When you insert coins into the Arcade, usually if the two machines are sitting next to each other, you'll get to option to "Link Play". So you play the same song on GuitarFreaks + DrumMania thus the American game Rock Band was born.

This is what it looks like in combination mode on a personal favorite song of mine called "Departure".

My friends and I would skip classes in college back in the days to rock the $hit out of it in our local Arcade. Good times, good times. If you don't enjoy JRock or JPop you might not like these games, because most of the songs are Japanese. Anyway, sorry to keep spamming here with Konami's stuff, but I just figured that since a lot of people enjoy Rock Band, they deserve to know where it came from :)

Why is it whenever I say these games are good, people dismiss them. I can remember the last time I said that these games are a better version/alternatives to rock band / guitar hero. People said I was a loon! A LOON I SAY!

regardless, fun fact: "V" is actually a remix of the italian song "l'inverno" (winter)

I feel ya bro... I did the same thing to my friends when GuitarHero, Rock Band first came out and I got the same response.

But then again, people in general can be in denial at times, if you check out the comments on YouTube about these songs, it's usually "OMFG that is insane, I've never played this game, I cannot possibly do that!"

Fact is, most people would not enjoy or pay attention to something that they cannot possibly accomplish in their life times.

While those songs seems impossible to hit, I've actually know a few regulars that goes to the Arcade to play "V" and hitting 1400 combos.

You'd have 3 groups.. 1. The can do 2. The can't do therefore don't care 3. The can't do but still interested

I'd love to play those games, just don't know where I can find them around here.
