July 14, 2008 - Last year, Rock Band was the only music game that enabled users to play as a full-fledged band. Things are different this year with Konami's Rock Revolution and, more dauntingly, Guitar Hero World Tour. Ultimately, no amount of features or new equipment is going to matter. The real winner will be whichever game has the best track list. Harmonix and MTV must be fully aware of this fact, because today, the two released the full 84-song set list. Judging by the impressive list, Konami and Activision have reason to worry. This is easily the greatest assemblage of music in a game to date.

Full list o' tracks there.
Really looking forward to The Trees from Rush, Spoonman from Soundgarden and Chop Suey from System of a Down

-We got the beat
-Float on
-Aqualung

Offspring - Come out & Play
System of a down - Chop Suey
Smashing Pumpkins - Today
RHCP - Give it away
Painc! at the disco - Nine in the afternoon
Metallica - Battery
Foo Fighters - Everlong (Love the film clip to this song)
Bon Jovi - Livin' on a prayer

These are the songs that I recognised and would enjoy playing (I recognised a few other songs but not songs that I like)

I am definitely diggin the Dreamtheater! they are friggin epic rockers.

Looks like a good list, hopefully they also enable you to play all the tracks from the vanilla rockband too (cuz there are a ton of good tracks there as well)

I know. Smiley: cry I was really hoping for them to try and get at least Less Talk More Rokk into Rock Band, or even better like a hard core version of Pop Music Is Not A Crime or something!

Also, no Evanescence! Come on! They freakin' were in the freakin' thing with the freakin' MTV for Rock Band 1!

But I'm ******* excited for that track list, plus 20 later on and full portability for older RB songs and downloads? **** man! I am almost willing to buy a freakin' xbox 360 just for all this. Time will tell though, we'll see how it works out with the Wii and/or the PS2 version...
