Would anyone make any modifications to this team? Or leave as is?

Torkoal and Pachirisu are weak sauce. Drop em like it's hot.
Fire types are dangerous because you'll come up against their weaknesses often. A water type would be great to throw in there, especially with some ice moves.

Pachirisu is actually my highest level character at the moment, at 51. I used to run around with a gyrados, but all his moves have become HMs, and there aren't any good TMs laying around to use. I used Palkia for a bit, but most of his moves are like, 10/10 PP or less.

If you want to keep the same general type lineup I'd replace Torkoal with an Infernape and Pachirisu with Jolteon. Both have much better stat growth.
It depends also on what you want to do with them. If all you are looking to do is complete the game then you can do that with any pokemon. but if you want a strong team for taking on other players you are going to need to look at good type mixes and stat growths.

With the exception of Snorlax I have never heard of any of those, but I haven't paid attention to pokemon since I was 11.

Lemmi gave me a Magby(25), Torkoal(1), and Magcargo(55). Whereas Magcargo is up there, I'm currently leveling Magby, as he looks like the strongest one in the long run. He also showed me the best spot to get money.

This was one of the tougher Elite Fours if I remember correctly. Silver/Gold and Ruby/Sapphire were pretty gimp I think.
