I've been spending a lot of time in Forochel and often, while up on the face of the mountain we are in near white out conditions. My question is, when player visibility is reduced to a few feet, is mob visibility also reduced?

It would kinda suck if we couldn't see them but they could still see us...

They can smell us.

I don't mind the reduced visibility, but the weather effects in this game - in forochel and the high pass areas of the misty mountains (and helegrod), cause serious lag for me.

Check your buff icons. If you're in Forochel, and the screen gets impaired like that, there's a chance there's a named around. Ordinarily, I've found that there is a certain debuff (a susceptibility to cold icon that looks like someone skating, I think) when I'm in Forochel and a named is around.

In the High Pass area of the Misty Mountains, it just plain means a named is up. No debuff or anything.
