I'm bored and I want something new. Can anyone recommend something that'll keep me amused, hopefully for the next couple of months until WotLK or Crysis: Warhead come out.
Recently I've been bashing my head against the wall because COD4, WoW and Civ IV haven't been sufficiently interesting. If all else fails, I'll have to resurrect my social life but that's the final, please-god-anything-but-that option.

Diablo II. Right this second I'm playing Crash Bandicoot 2, but as I just completed 88% of it today and I'm not finished yet, I wouldn't recommend that. =P
Pokemon. It's fun days after you beat the elite four, cause there's a good chunk of "endgame" stuff in it.

Been playing Mass Effect, Dawn of War: Soulstorm, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Medieval 2: Total War myself...
Any and all Pokemon games are available for the PC. Just download an emaluator (or w/e the heck its called) from limewire or other D/L site. Then D/L the Rom for any pokemon game of your choosing. You can play any game for any system that way basically.

Out of curiousity, why can't you? It's an amazing game, and even if you don't have a PS2, you can get one so cheap that FFXII itself is worth it. Or, if you want to go all out, get a backward compatible PS3, and then you can play XII with all of the new games coming out.
