Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is one of my quieter addictions. Now, after fulfilling my joy with several expansion packs, they have a sequel! The cinematic trailer makes me drool with anticipation for the same intense storyline that kept me in the game. The gameplay graphics look astounding. I'm looking forward to the same visceral combat I've been enjoying so much. Smiley: drool2

In before: WAAAAAAGH!

I think he's talking about the computer generated RTS.

Join me in Warhammer Online Doug. It is exactly like Dawn of War except it is an MMORPG instead of an RTS and it is based in a separate universe that has only cosmetic similarities to 40k.

Is Warhammer Online even out yet?

I don't think it's out yet, but I'll definitely be down to play when it does release.

You, me and Catt need to have a game on the first one. Dark Crusade specifically, Soulstorm sucks.

I love Dawn of War, but dammit, I suck at it. Even after sitting and watching tons of replays from solid players, I still suck at it. It's the first RTS I have really played, and that probably plays in to it, but jeez. When I play online, I am getting my first couple upgrades done when an army of Terminators storms my camp.

All I can do is sit there and yell "HAXX!"

I don't know. I think DoW has done the best with trying to get away from the whole "your opening build sequence means everything" idea. In other RTS games, like Warcraft 3, your opening build sequence is about 80% what determines if you will win or lose (the other 20% is knowing when to level up your Hero). In DoW, the way the strategic points are handled prevents it from deleveling into the same kind of game, but it is still there somewhat.
