New To EQOA a question?Follow

Unlike the new RPG's out there on everquest you probley wont solo a single level after lvl 7 unless you are doing a hunt and gather quest.. I think thats why people who play this game cant switch to a new RPG, but you will need a party to get high levels fast and idk how easy it is to get a party.. Its kind of like FFXI.. you sit there for 3hours sometimes just talking to your friends then you logg off sad you didnt get anything done.. THEN sometimes soon as you register for a group or you wont even be seeking one and someone will ask you if you need a group.. It all depends on wich class is needed most [Its usually tank] or Caster if there are power lvl'rs out there

Well I dont know about Smoke. But theres plentyofsoling stuff with boon to help you level. If you reg for a group and then go kill light to dark blue mobs while you wait. Or if you really wanna group put one together yourself.
It is really easy to find a group IMO even if no healers grab a bard and your set hit a camp of dark blues to yellows and your on your way. You can even do pick claws till 25 if you don't mind the boredom of killing greens. But there are many ways to level and get groups I never sit and wait for someone to pick me up on reg. Hey thanks Brujalives I will def give ya a tell if I need some help. I guess i just want to have fun and break away from my pc, I guess since I in school and just wanna use it for my school and other things but not a game. Im getting my PS@ next friday and hopefully should be playing next weekend the 16th or so. My druid's name will be Laeena look for me all if not just to say hi.

Yeah smoke with boon leveling has been alot easier. But with the population we need it for now. Thats where the off the wall groups come in.

I seen 3 lvl 22-25 wizzy's pulling at myrms the other day. Seen a 38 tank using a bard to heal at cyclops. Just putting out there with boon you can get a red mobs xp off of a dark blue no problem so it has helped with the lack of natural group options.

As for starting a Necro great choice. Healers are prolly more needed low level but top end Necros are a must for any type of raid.

I made a Mage and am at LvL 42 it is only about a month old but I tend to play alot and usually help alot. There are other people I played with low level who are almost 60. So yes with boon you can level way faster but only if you choose to.

Overall the game still has appeal to me I have even dusted off some old accounts and brought back some of my old toons. Although when I quit I sold all my gear on auction so most of my toons are naked but just need to go shopping.

Im sorry that i am so excited but since I work alot and do school I feel like I finnally found my game. I have another question and is there like a bazzar in eqoaa for buying stuff and what's a Boon? Peace yall

The "boon" is a potion that multiplies your experience gained by 4... :)

You can buy it at any starting town for 1000 tunar. (I believe)
