Friday night I couldn't pull myself away from the Olympic Opening Ceremonies.

Sat. Morning spent some time questing with my warg. I'm now pretty comfortable roaming about the whole map by myself and even dropping my invis to actually kill stuff:D

Sat. night got logged in late, but had a tell and group invite waiting for me. A couple other level 50's and one 35 and myself ravaged Fornost. I had originally skipped over much of the North Downs content so still had plenty of questing to do there.

Sunday morning logged on my warg again and joined a raid. We flipped two keeps - good for the DP wallet. Oh and I ranked to 4.

Sunday night I finally did my ring-lore quest (I missed two days!!), and then just helped out a friend with their LM alt in Tal Bruinen for a bit.

How was your LoTRO weekend?

My mission this weekend was to get my LM to 50. Started at about mid 47, ended at 25% into 49 last night, with only 2 Forochel quests left (the elite dwarf one in the mine, and the end of the ice jewel chain). Guess it's off to Angmar again :(

Did some miscellaneous crafting as well, though nothing of interest.

Thursday: Finally broke down and bought a house. Decided on Thorin's Hall since I liked the style of the dwarven homes and its really the easiest of the homesteads to get to and out of. Ringlore quest X 2.

Friday: Much summer festival fishing. Got the items I wanted(the doormat, the banner, and the dwarven wall design). Ran Book 2 on my guardian. Also won a race and acquired the Festival horse. While decorating my new house, I realized I just didn't have enough room. Went exploring and found a deluxe house I liked alot better than the one I had bought. Aside from being bigger, the yard is much better lit. Upgraded the house(ouch, I'm officially broke now). Ringlore quest X 2

Saturday: Played just a little, mostly worked on trying to get my Minstrel up to 21 so I can have a 3rd character to do Ringlore quests with. Did some running around buying furniture and things for the house. Ringlore quest X 2(notice a pattern?)

Sunday: Did some crafting, mostly for the house. Got Kitca to make me some paintings for the walls. Ringlore quest X 2, of course.

I think that some of this is out of order, lol.

Friday Night, Ran Gardens, killed nengon with the kin ,yay, and got the shoulder drop. Finished the night Running CD for my first Mordirith kill.

Saturday, Ran Palace, lost on the pants drop.

Sunday....blurrr

My goal is to get the entire Annuminas set by moria! It just looks so good.

Congratulations on home ownership. I bought a standard house in the Falathron Homestead. I picked the house I did because it had it's own little swimming beach. I think it's the farthest house from the entrance though. None of the trophies I'd collected looked good or even fit (threw them away). I was then, further disappointed that I couldn't put bound stuff in my chest. They need to do something to make houses more useful.

Woot! I've ran that instance at least 6 or 7 times. Never won the drop on the shoulders (the bane of PuG's).

I love the annuminas instances. I hope to see similar ones in Moria.

I hate the Annuminas instances. I hope we get more Carn Dum/Urugarth-style instances with Moria.

Friday, yeah. Annuminas. Suckeh.

Saturday, I was working, and then went to my grandparents for some pizza since my cousin was down from Ohio. Think she's going to move down here. Didn't end up logging LOTRO.

Sunday, I finished book 12 on my hunter, and got one step closer to my melee build. 18.5% evade rate, 18.9% parry rate without the 8% from Swift Stroke. Mmm.

Saturday.

Couple of hours getting used to how to operate my champ again. Ive been in AoC for a coupla months and am having a rest from it until it sorts itself out or dies (hope its the former, its a good game poentially). Then managed to finish off book 13. Ran to Rivendell and picked the 2 handed sword to replace my 45 class quest axe. It looks a bit wussy compared to the axe, but its 31.4 (or thereabouts) beleriand damage, and cos all the creeps are specced to resist light damage.....well you get the idea.

Sunday.

Ran around a bit to start Bk14, and scored the new festival pony.

Monday.

Joined a Rift raid with the kinnies and once i got used to the whole raiding action again, had a blast. I scored some Gloombane pants, and we're off to finish it off tonight. Because the majority of folk already have most of their Rift peices, I'm in hope of scoring the chest piece or /crosses fingers, the Balrog will drop Wigfeld.

I'm very glad to have paid for lifetime in LoTRO. Its such a pleasing way of spending a few hours.

I'm keeping AoC on, tho i'm not on the same server anymore as the kin from LoTRO. I'm just keeping a Barb on a PvP server for now to tool around with and watch to see how the game develops.

Elendilmir, the oceanic server.

Update to above....

went back into the Rift to finish up to the Balrog, but had some major issues with one of the minstrels LD'd in the middle of the Thrang fight. Trod water until he got back on, but he found himself in the middle of Angmar!!??

Killed Thrang without him, but then few of us got stuck in combat. After leaving and returning still in combat some of us finally logged off, but couldn't re-enter game because of the log in server being down. Pretty frustrating tbh. I didn't score the chest piece sadly, and I already have the hat from Thrang, but spending so much time killing Thrang due to server issues to then not be able to have the people who needed the hat to be able to there to loot it, was a bit of a shame.

The whole of the server was a bit Richardy last night due to having got the 70k ring-lore completed, so every man and his hobbit was thrashing out bk14. A couple of stages of that were totally out of control with all sorts of random happenings.

im only at 14.1 and will probably give it a week or so before trying to progress any further with it due to the crowds.

Dont tell anyone....but in the last week I've made a healthy profit on [fine clover honey]. Seems people are willing to pay thru the nose for it from the AH rather than run to where a certain vendor sells it hehehe /rubs hands

Rofl, never underestimate the laziness of people. My little level 26 hobbit guardian made about 1.5 gold by the time he was level 15, just by selling the new dye and wall paint recipes to people who couldn't be bothered to farm the low level areas.

Update to the update....

Balrog killed in short order. Missed out on any phat lewt, but its gotta be the best fight in the game!

I always forget to breath for the last 20k, and when he does go down, my hearts banging away like the ********* door in a tandoori restaurant for 10 mins afterwards...
