SE's new xbox game?Follow

That infinite undiscovery game, I keep seeing an ad for it on TV but I don't know much about it. It looks pretty cool, and seems to have multi-player through xbox live. Does anyone else know any details? I checked the website for the game and it doesn't really say much at all.

I thought it was promoting FFXIII when I first saw the ad. Looks pretty good, I may have to get it.

Edit: word redundancy

I think I remember hearing that it's part of the Star Ocean series, but I could be wrong.

From the Gamespy.com preview and trailers, it looks like yet another squad based RPG where I can't control all my party members at the same time. Instant negative points in my book. I'm a micromanager, I like turn based RPGs.

I'll probably avoid it until I see it in used bins.

it's action based by the looks of it, like hack and slash but with rpg elements... like zelda mixed with ff12 or something.

The plot seems to involve an evil organization that chains the Moon to the earth, which causes evil monsters to appear across the world.

anyways, it looked interesting.

is it just me, or does that remind any one else of FF8?

It looks pretty cool but I'm not going to buy a 360 just to play it.

Anything SE does nowadays reminds me of Final Fantasy. The artwork, the gameplay, the storyline... the ****-poor voice acting.

For some reason it's the xbox right now which has the best rpg selection, aside from the DS (which is kinda irrelevant since it's hald-held and cheap compared to a console)

Lost Odyssey isn't the best rpg I've ever played but it's definitely worth the time. It will take about 2 discs to start making sense, but after a slow start the plot becomes engaging. The music is very typical Uematsu (read: good fights) and the interface and skill system are all very simple. 7.0/10

Haven't played eternal sonata yet. I was waiting til I finished ffiv again (just finished it actually.)

Then there's mass effect of course. I don't really count this as a true rpg; it's a well-defined hybrid of several genres. I did love it in any case though.
