Extremely creative free gamesFollow

This is a site I ran across a while back. This guy makes some utterly amazing games with a very light-weight game editor called "Game Maker". If you are familiar with it, don't be fooled. This guy (Cactus) makes some of the most creative games I have ever seen. You must check out the game actually linked here, Psychosomnium, and then go to the main page to try out some others. Ad Naseaum 2 is another must-play, if just for the music. Simple, small downloads and no installation. Just unzip and play.

Cactus Milk Games

Let me know what you think. I think he has several that could have been at Pax10.

So I beat Psychosomnium, but failed to see any sign of creativity. The text is barely readable. The platforming is abysmal. He is too lazy to turn off dialog triggers after a player has encountered them once. The worst part about the game is that many areas require you to perform some sort of secret task in order to progress without giving any sort of cue as to what that would be, and most of these just require dying in a specific way.

It was poorly designed and lacking in creativity.

I must be stupid as hell. I can't figure out how to get past the first level. There aren't any special things that I can do, correct? Just the movement keys, and z for chatting?

Edit: Got past one part. The fact that they don't tell you the extent of your abilities is annoying. For instance, I had to go to the next panel, then leave back the way I came to get on the other side... wtf?
