Poe and Bioshock. They're both dark and creepy.

Bioshock scares me because I am a baby about things like that ; ;

I haven't played eternal darkness for the same reason but it was only 10 dollars with the original box and manual so I couldn't resist getting it.

It probably wouldn't hurt to finish up your Lost Odyssey so that you can focus on something new all freshlike. :D

You should try FEAR if you think Bioshock is scary Smiley: nod

I'm the same way, I picked up 5 great PS2 RPG's for cheap and I'm debating which to start with.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time ($15)
Radiata Stories ($16)
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter ($7)
Rogue Galaxy ($20)
can't remember the 5th.

I've started Rogue Galaxy and it's great but I'm really tempted to start Radiata Stories, it looks fantastic. Either way there is a gold mine of cheap RPG's out there for the PS2 to tide me over until Eternal Sonata, White Knight Story, and FFXIII come out on the PS3.

It's not really as you say scary. It's more, well, it's hard to describe. I would just say everything about it seems off and abnormal. I think that's worse than scary. It is a really fun game though.

Read Lovecraft. Then go to sleep. Then wake up in the middle of the night and relax to a nice simple and friendly life in Bioshock.

Lovecraft is one of those authors. YOu know the type.

*reads story*
"Man this is bullsh*t this isn't scary at all, but it is kinda cool
15 minutes later
"Why am I so c.. cold? ANd why can't I go upstairs without looking behind me?"
45 minutes later
*fetal position-sobbing-self-to-something-like-sleep*

Example

The Color Out of Space
Rats in the Walls
Thing on the Doorstep
The XXXX (forgot the word) out of Time

LoZ Four Swords Adventures - 3/4 through

I bought this the day it came out..in '04? Me and a bro played all the way up to Level 6 and we quit. As "fun" as the game was, we ALWAYS ended yelling at each other.

So a few months back I sat down and solo'ed played it. It wasn't as fun as yelling at my brother for blowing me up...
And the ending was super easy. Took no skill...

So i say pass on this, unless you just want to see the ending (that was kind of lame...)

I finsihed Twewy yesterday. It's a fantastic and mature game. It truly ought to have been rated M for content but had a fantastic ending and final boss.
