Ok, so im on Tatoine, fresh commando, how does it work with this crafting, where do i go to begin, i saw some coordinates elsewhere for enginering, but all io got was a tent and empty table there? It talks about resources and god knows what, just a simple starting guide would be great..
Can anyoine tell me where to get started with crafting right from the begining, can i do it in the space station already? Or only on tatoine?
Been looking up and down for answers, but theyre all hardcore, im a idiot newbie here...

I am not sure what you are trying to do here, Commando is a combat profession so you wont be able to do crafting with him.
If you want to craft your best bet is to make a Trader as your second character and with that you will be given the basic equipment you need to get started (excluding the raw materials).
You can begin your crafting on the space station if you want and there are probably tutorials to help you understand the process a little better up there(I was around well before the space station so I don't know what it is like).
You can craft on any planet in your server.
As far as guides go I would recommend going to http://www.swgcraft.co.uk and checking out the forums there as they have a lot of guides attached to the site and it is probably the largest collection of traders in the game.

only one of the trader professions can craft, everyone else is a consumer :D
seriously though, you have 2 slots per server, if you want to start crafting your going to have to create another character, choose carefully though, if you read up on the official forums for the different professions you can find out a bit more about the different crafter types, tbh, it would take too long to go into too much detail here. have a read and then come back if you have any more questions.
