Anyone Else Coming Back For Moria?Follow

I played to 28ish with a minstrel, and 19 with a hunter then got bored and left. I have lost my house (ARGH) and that irritates me no end....

But I really am excited about hopping on and seeing what they do with the story I know and love so much. I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate at such a low level though - in which case I'll just stick with WAR.

I was hoping to do a month or two subscription to do MoM. Will I be able to play, or is MoM reserved for players who've actually put time into the game? *grins*

MoM is for endgame players for the most part, but you can level one of the new classes at any level. Maybe one of the new classes would provide more excitement and help you reach the higher levels?

Other than a short dissapointing journey into AoC, I never really left Smiley: grin

I would say that coming back again would be a good idea. Theres gonna be shedloads of people levelling new toons, so its going to be busy busy busy, all over the place.

Its still the nicest looking game out there, and the new combat mechanics (amongst other things) is going to make for a very interesting continuation of an amazingly absorbing game.

Just to add....the legendary weapon advancement sounds like a really new direction in mmo's. Worth coming back to check that out I'd say.

Check out this review.

Well, I kinda dropped off the face of Middle Earth for a lot of reasons, but yeah, I'm coming back to LotRO (despite the fact that I don't have any characters high enough to enjoy MoM yet, and probably won't for a while; that Runekeeper class sure looks interesting though)

And yes, I know I am a horrible, horrible person.

Although I play wow and work the wow site, I did re-install the game the other day and log back in. Lot of changes and I have to relearn my chars all over again but it's still pretty fun.

I plan on returning but unless they do something about giving us a lot more room to keep stuff in I won't be staying for long.

Well to address storage issues:

#1. Two more chests added to the bank
#2. Quest items no longer take up inventory
#3. One Shot Recipes Stack
#4. Key Rings

Other than tweaking how how bags work, this should fix some storage issues...

From what I've seen, the changes Mora referenced make quite a bit of difference to the inventory issue.

Just the keychain should free up 1/2 dozen slots in my on-board inventory (I like to keep my keys on me;).

I've not left LoTRO, but am looking forward to a raising up a new character. Think I'm gonna try a Warden - I'm due for some tankage.

Can anyone say if we'll be getting more character slots?

We will be getting two more slots bringing the total to 7 per server.

As much as I want to do Moria, I don't see me being able to level fast enough to see the content. Oh well. I'll read all about it here, so ya'll better report in detail!!

Yes, inspiration for a weekly update!. :D

If you don't mind skipping some content, it can be pretty quick and easy to level up to 50. I kinda rush the road to 50 a bit myself in order to raid with my kin.

I've since gone back and done alot of the stuff I skipped or missed. Really it's been kinda fun doing some of the quest lines at 50. First off I was able to actually finish many questlines on my own or with just one or two others, secondly, most the trash mobs you have to plow through to complete quests are grey at 50, so don't agro:D.

Anyways, it's just a thought. If you want more specifics, give a yell.

I've had to take a few breaks over the past few months, so I'm not nearly as burnt out on LOTRO as I have been at other MMOs' expansion releases. So, yeah, as soon as my schedule frees up, I will "come back" to LOTRO, i.e., start playing again on a regular basis.

Didn't anyone mention that being a horrible, horrible person really isn't a handicap in our kinship? Just come on back. Maybe try one of the new classes. The place is going to be chock full of low levels again.
