What buffs do I need?Follow

It's been about 3 years since I quit SWG. I decided to come back for at least 1 month to check everything out.

Anyway, I'm pretty much catching up on these collection quests for jedi atm and apparently I need to collect holocrons. Naturally I went to the jedi temple ruins on dantooine.

I kill force sensitives for about a half hour. Pretty happy after finding about 2 holocrons at this point I then discover I can't kill these dark jedi masters. I figured it was natural since it was a level 90 gold elite.

A few minutes later I watch someone else solo one and a jedi knight silver elite at the same time!! I tried to ignore it and continue collecting holocrons. Only a few minutes after that I watch someone else do it too!! O_O' Now I recall seeing a crap load of buffs on them both and I realize that is their secret.

I went on a search for guides to figure out what buffs I need, but I have failed so I am now here in search for help.

So... Which buffs do I need to accomplish the task of defeating a dark jedi master gold elite NPC?

Have you guys tried the profession forums on the official site?

These boards are good at helping with game play issues where people are not looking for rapid responses but not so good with class or server specific questions.
