Hey there, I got a small problem with LotRo that's been bothering me for a while now though.

some of the text in the character journal is somehow "cramped" and I can't see my melee efficiency anymore e.g. (or did they move that somewhere else in one of the recent updates?). I'm running the game at 1280x1024 (full screen mode) on a regular 17'' 5:4 TFT and didn't really change any video settings before I first noticed it.
Does anyone else have this problem and can it be somehow solved without altering the resolution? As far as I have seen, this only seems to occur in the character journal.

I had that problem on my old 19" CRT I had when the game was first released. Got a 22" widescreen LCD last year for Christmas and haven't had it since.. Never did figure out why it did that on the old one though... and I did run it at the same resolution also... Might wanna try the Turbine Technical Support forums also.
Okay, thanks, I'll see what I can find out. On the other hand, I think I didn't have that problem with the trial version back then, although I used the same monitor and resolution..
Okay, sorry for the necrobumping and doubleposting, but in case anyone else had this problem:
A simple driver-update (to Catalyst 8.12) solved the problem with the cramped text for me and I also heard, that they removed the "melee efficiency"-stat.
