Want to get the most free play i canFollow

I bought the LOtR: SOA recently, and want to know how to get the most free-time play I can (free trials, promos, buddy keys?, etc.). The only other pay-to-play mmorpg I've played was *cough* SWG *cough* and my play style was slow (too much time spent on managing player, not really playing the game). I'll try to speed up my gameplay in LOtR, but I fear I'm going to be stuck in AFK mode for the first month reading lore, checking items, managing skills. Also, this time around I don't have as much free-time as I like, so maybe only three hours at most each day. Thanks.

Ok, I'm gonna try the free trial, then do the buddy key from a friend, then activate the CD code from my purchased copy for the 30-day free trial. Sounds good, no?

The buddy key requires a new account, I don't think it will work with the free trial. I could be wrong

So you're willing to keep starting over and never really get anywhere if you can do so for free? Boy, what a dumb idea! Put a crowbar in your wallet and join the game. You'll have a lot more fun if you commit to it than if you just try and take advantage of it.

The free trial = the buddy key. They changed the buddy key awhile ago and just made it a free trial.

Also, as OBD eluded to, you can't stack these freebies. Once you activate an account with the game you purchased, you'll get 30 days free, but will then not be eligible for the free trial.

You could, I think, use the free trial, without activating the game you bought. It's a free download. Then once that is over, you could upgrade the free account to a purchased account with your code key. I think you'd still get the 30 days, not sure. Of course, the free trial/buddy key program is temporarily suspended since the release of MoM, so.......
