Well, after having played through it a little bit, I can't say I enjoy this one as much. The gameplay is exactly the same as the old one, except now they've put stupid restrictions on what you can put in your decks, and playing cards is more difficult... there are casting times (most of which are absurdly long) which are interrupted if you get hit, and each card has a delay associated with it before you can play another. What this boils down to is that you're lucky if you can play more than 1-2 cards a fight, and even luckier if you manage to get off a good offensive one. Also, it seems to me that they shortened the duration of most characters' Bankai, but that may just be a faulty memory on my part.
Overall, I'd give it a 5.5/10. Maybe worth buying used if you can get it cheap, but just play the original if you want a fighting game with Bleach characters. This game does not seem to offer anything new, and has taken a step backwards from the last one. I will play it all the way through regardless, and will let you know if there is some amazing gameplay element that I have yet to see.
