Hey everyone,
I'm currently playing World of Warcraft but have been watching Age of Conan since it was released and now have a PC that can run it at the settings it should be run at. I'm not about to drop 40 bucks on a game that I don't really know if I'll like if I can help it and so am looking for a free trial account or someone willing to share a buddy key with me so that I can check it out without shelling out money that would better be spent on more important things at this time... like christmas presents and/ or heating bills.

I looked on the official site and didn't find anything about a free trial download option but have seen various threads on many other gaming sites regarding buddy keys. Anyone willing to help me out? Thanks in advance. If you send me a key, let me know what realm you recommend or what realm you're on so I can say thanks in game.

No one could ever get their buddy passes. They canceled that option after too many people joined on the release date.

I think both of my passes expired before they let me get them. It sucked.

Well according to the AoC forums, they were activated for both EU and US servers at the same time, but only those with CE's got there's at first so I'm not sure if anyone who didn't get a CE game ever had their buddy key's activated.

Anyway, still looking to see if I can find someone willing to let me use a buddy key to check out the game before I have to shell out the 40 bucks.

Thanks again for any who reply with any info. Oh and also.... please don't post on this forum with the key IF you plan on sending one. Send it in a PM =D

I wouldn't recommend getting the game. Funcom has been constantly removing the aspects of the game that enticed people to join; such as the ability to start fights anywhere you wanted to, like in a bar.

Hence the request for a free trial/ buddy key so I don't go out and buy a game that I may not like...
