Any one ever played the Xenoasaga series? it's a rpg for Ps2. its has 3 episodes

i tried to play the first one, but i think i fell asleep, to many cutscenes even for an rpg.
Ive played through the first one and the second one and third yea cut scenes are long but the story is really good.

XENOSAGA IS AMAZING!!!*
*But like the posts above these mention, the games do have a very large, elaborate storyline that's probably going to take a few play-throughs to fully grasp. Anyway, if you do enjoy the storyline, the combat is a lot of fun too, and the game has abover-average graphics for it's time.
I liked the first one but the second was crap and I never finished it. I never played the third one (because I didn't finish the second.)

Really? The battle system was much more engaging and the story is a direct continuation. I'm not sure how you could like the first and not the second.

I had no problem with the story but the battle system annoyed me so much that I can't play it.
