Hey guys I'm trying to decide if I should get this game or not. From what I read it looks like a fun game. I'm currently playing world of warcraft. I'm at the end game of the new exp already and I'm tired of the game it's always the same repetitive thing. I used to play everquest 2 but the problem I found with that game was that unless I was grouped with people I was stuck doing nothing. Is LOTR like this? or can you level alone? That's one advantage I liked with wow you could be productive without having to find someone to do something with. Please give me your opinions on the game.

Thanks

You'll be able to accomplish a majority of the game solo, but at the same time, be able to group if you feel like it. There are a variety of things to do, I think you should try it.

yeah I've been reading about it more and more and I think I'm going to buy it later today. It's not that I dislike grouping part of the fun of mmo's is being able to interact with new people. It's I don't want to be dependent on having to find a group.

Smiley: lol Yeah. I have 'Teh' book(s) (my originals). But, I could use a game manual. EQ stopped making and providing paper manuals. So, I guess I assumed LoTRO never had an actual 'can-hold-it-in-your-hands' manual.

But they do?

I think a new player will learn FAR more from the tutorial in the opening instance and the ongoing hint system than from any manual provided...
