leveling up JediFollow

I have 2 points I need help with:

1st:

I've completed the Legacy quest and the follow up missions in Corelia. Plus the Mark of Hero.

I'm out of quests.

I'm only a level 43 Jedi.

How do I proceed now?

I tried doing missions from the Rebel Terminals but although the missions seem simple enough, as a combatant I'm being attacked by level 90 Imperial Troopers near my targets. I can't handle them yet.

I even ventured into the Warren to try and loot some Acolyte Jedi Robes but had to get out of there in a hurry. there's no way I can survive that.

Where should I look for quests? I'd like to eventually reach level 90.


2nd:

I looted somewhere along an "Agile Soft Undershirt of Brawling."
These are the stats:

Strength: 7

Required Level to Equip: 38
Required Proffession: Jedi
Armory Category: Special

Standard Protection
Kinetic: 1915
Energy: 1446

Special Protection
Heat: 1714
Cold: 1714
Acid: 1714
Electricity: 1714

The Problem: It doesn't really work
It's not an appearance item. I can equip it but it doesn't add any more protection to my Initiate's Robe (it's as if I didn't equip it at all)

without the Initiate's Robe I only receive the following:
Kinetic: 684
energy: 516
Heat: 612
Cold: 612
Acid: 612
Elec: 612

Does anyone know what the problem might be? The undershirt is designated for Jedi and equiping it doesn't remove the Robe (as any other armor does)

Can they be combined?

the armoured clothes will NOT stack with your robe, there pretty much there so peoploe who didnt want to wear robes had an option for another armour, you should get teh stats though.

and then equiping the shirt alone also will not give you the full protection listed, you would need to wear a full suit of clothes with around those same protection levels to get that bonus, at least thats how it works with armour.
