Have been thinking about buying one of those generic NES system but there are so many and apparently none of them work EXACTLY like a normal NES system.

The biggest thing I am concerned about would be Game Genie support. I have alot of games that I just wouldn't even want to bother with if I couldn't at least have a few convieneces such as skipping to Level X or infinite continues, etc.

Anybody recommend a fairly compatible one that works with the Game Genie. My original NES is pretty beat up and of course I gotta fight with it every time I use it.

Whatever the problem is, just blow in it. Things generally work for the better when you do that.

Just search online for a replacement connector for the main unit; it's very easy to swap out. Also get one of the special bits so you can open up game cartridges to replace the game save battery.
