Final Fantasy X is probably the lamest in the series. I hated it even more than I hated VIII. Hell, I'd rather play Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

But if you like jerkin' it to hentai, FFX gave you Yuna, Lulu, Rikku... it's pretty much #1 when it came to fan service.

How can you not like FFX? I thought it was one of the best personally. I mean the combat/leveling system was solid and it had an excellent story line. Even the all might Final Fantasy 7 took forever to actually get to the good parts. Final Fantasy X had me hooked on the story within 2 hours. I didn't get into FF7 until I left the city which is several hours into the game. I never cared for FF8 for its controls and Final Fantasy 9 was ok but a tad bit kidish.
Of course I can't post a Final Fantasy Thread without saying that I hated Final Fantasy 12 with a passion. I think we should dig up all the copes of E.T. for Atari 2600 and fill the hole with copies of Final Fantasy 12 instead. For those who don't know what I am talking about there is supposedly a landfil somewhere full of nothing but E.T. for the atari 2600 which was voted the worst game ever by somebody somewhere. Sure it was crackerassed but I mean come on it was a atari 2600 game? It had more then 1 screen that puts it above alot of games.

FFX didn't come close to measuring up to FFIX. Even the semi-crappy PS1 cutscenes in IX were better than the graphically superior PS2 X.

FFX is one of my favorites. Told an excellent story and had solid gameplay. I felt for all the characters and really just had a great time playing it.
It doesn't measure up to FFVI. But NOTHING measures up to FFVI. That was the greatest game ever made, right there. Even FFVII isn't good enough to lick the filth from its shoes.
That said, I didn't care for Blitzball either.

Agreed. I will say I didn't like all the characters, but I was able to overlook them for the overarching story (which was good except for the ending) and fun gameplay. Plus, it was actually the first FF I played, so it holds a special place in my heart there.

So am I the only one who liked them all? 
I must be less picky than the rest of you. Every time a new FF game comes out I love to immerse myself in it, and enjoy it since I know it's going to be 3+ years until the next iteration.

I haven't actually found a Final Fantasy game I haven't enjoyed(to be fair, I haven't played XII). Some are better than others, for sure, but all of them are good.
Also, I apparently need to buy a DS.

I got the DS version of IV for xmas, but haven't played it yet. Stupid other games and school getting in the way

.there is no DS version of VI....there is a remake or the original NES 3 though.

People who hate X **** me off. I can understand hating XII because the storyline was very, very lacking and the whole equipment/ability thing sucked ***, but X was in no way bad in any possible way that I can think of.
I also loved VIII, the storyline was <3 and the draw/combat system was pwn after you get a decent bit into the game.
IX was decent, but I didn't feel anything special while playing it.
X-2 I tried to play but really couldn't get that far before I just stopped playing it.
XI is <3
VII was better than IX, but not as good as X.
I was hard as ****, and I still never got around to beating it.
I have yet to play II, IV, V, and VI although I have bought them and plan to get through them I just spend too much time on XI and school to get around to them.
Crystal Chronicles got boring very very fast.

.ah, figured you were just confused on the whole 6 being 3 on the SNES thing, would have been a huge disappointment to toss it in thinking it was 6 and having it be 3.
