Do you play multiple games at once?Follow

I want to find out how weird I am. I normally play about 5 at a time.

Over the same week or so. For example, I'll try to finish two rpgs side by side, alternating their days played.

I just think that sometimes I should focus on one or the other... but idk how uncommon it really is.

There are a few games (DotA, TF2, L4D) that I play interchangeably (albeit it some more than others) with friends whenever we feel like it (and can be considered infinitely replayable). On top of that I usually have at least 1-2 games on console that I go to every so often. Right now it's Okami for the Wii and Fallout 3 for the 360. Of course, the latter is limited since I don't have a 360 and my friend that does shares it with his brother, so he only gets it 2 weeks at a time <_<. I also have HL2 that I never beat that I'll usually go back to and play for an hour or so, but I do that once every other week or so . And then there's my DS, which always has a DS game and a GBA game in it, although I can't say I've really touched the thing in about a month (stupid school)...

So yes, I can have anywhere between 3-8 games unfinished at a time, depending on if you count games that you never really "finish".

Replaying FFXII. Just finished FFX.

Playing WAR, I pop in GTA Vice City occasionally. GH2.

When i steal my sister's xbox360 add about 5 more games to list.



I do though tend to stick to one game as a main, and will sub in others as I am bored/not in the mood at the moment.

Probably about a 7:3 ratio.

Played some CS 1.6 today too >_>

I'm always playing different games all the time. Except right now, there's no game out there that I really want.

But, simultaneously, yeah, I'm usually playing FFXI with my DS open.

Mainly when I'm LFG, then I'm usually absorbed in the DS to fully concentrate on FFXI.

I am currently playing CoD4 again, Dungeon Siege: Legend of Aranna, TWEWY, Pokemon Pearl, WoW, Mount and Blade, CS:S and Etrian Odyssey.

I am a busy person >.>

I'm playing about 3 games right now. But I think 5 is over the limit and it's hard to manage specially if your playing an MMORPG.

Are all games I've played within the past week or so. Heh.

I remember playing Phoenix Wright and watching TV while I was in an XP party in FFXI once, and no one seemed to notice... though it was only in the 30s. Later I couldn't get away with that. Also, I played Suikoden II almost all the way through while racing my chocobo for skillups... FFXI chocobo raising was one of the most boring things I've ever done in a game. Basically after a certain amount of days, you can't improve anymore unless you spend weeks doing nothing but pressing the enter button a few times every 3 minutes and watching a recorded race with a pre-determined outcome each time you do that.

I used to play PS1 games on my PC between bites while fishing in FFXI also... The nice thing about pSX is that it has the option to pause everything whenever the window loses focus.

As far as playing multiple console games at the same time, I can't handle it... it's like trying to read to series of books at the same time.

I can't think of a time when I wasn't playing multiple games simultaneously. Usually a computer based MMO, a console game of some sort, a PSP and a DS game.
