hi, im a returning player, just got back and switched from my old main server to CLW cause i hear thats where all the people are and i want to be doing raids and stuff when im 60.
i'm looking for some help with my bard which is what i chose to be my main character. looking for any advice i can possibly get about how to go about building a very strong raid bard, that also partys well and can solo when theres just noone around to do stuff with lol
i was particularly curious about the path options, i was thinking going all power path but take combazt at 60 so i have the power buffs and also the best combat buff. but i keep thinking that my mana regen would suck since id be stuck with just the 40 and 49 songs.
any advice is greatly appreciated.
i made him an Elf also, if that matters at all, for like MC choices.

Hey welcome back to the game. I am coming back as well soon to the Ferran's Hope server. Oh and going to CLW is not a bad choice.
If you want a raid bard then go full power path. I used a CM calculator from http://www.teamjosh.com/EQOA/CM/Index.cfm to create a pretty decent 940 CMed level 60 Minstrel to raid with.
Stamina mods your Strength, Agility, and Charisma buff. Agility mods your resist buffs. Charisma mods your heal tick and your power refills. The next CMs you should purchase after acheiving this build are Godborn, Vital Body 4 and 5, stat CMs, your racial stat max CMs, were/were-hunter CMs etc. Grinding to 60 you may want to purchase the Bardic Expertise line to shorten strike recasts but rehab it out when you are raiding. Threnody is a Charisma modded 6 second recast strike which is good to have if you can afford it.

you can also talk to Norox. he plays on clw & has a bard with 1500 cms on another server.
