R2-D2 gone haywire!Follow

I finished the Tattooine line of Legacy missions and now I have an R2-D2 droid. Problem is, he's sitting in my house going haywire, chirping and shooting sparks out. Is he simply a furniture item, or will I eventually be able to have him follow me around out in public?

Yeah Baron that is meant to be like that, and it cannot be fixed. If you ran through all of the SWG player's houses you would see most of them with a sparking R2 unti set off in a room somewhere. I remember 3 or 4 years ago when i finished that Legacy quest for the 1st time i spent a month trying to find some special tool that would fix my R2...lol....but alas it is just to fill space in your shack. Take care and have fun!
