Tetris, a good choice for number two, was selected because it is available on at least 50 different gaming platforms. And Grand Theft Auto holds the record for the most controversial series of games.

Some of the games (the link shows the full top 50) surprise me, either because of their position in the charts, or that they were chosen for the list at all. For instance, they voted FFXII over FFVII
