Yeah...so...I have this problem.

I have way too many characters on this game, and FFXI, and I wish I had time for both of them. But I don't. So I continually bounce back and forth between the two.

But I think I have found a solution, as I type this post of lamentations.

LOTRO is pretty much dead during the daytime on weekdays.
FFXI is full of insane powerleveling japanese groups during the day.

At night, LOTRO gets more interesting, and groups are easier to find.
At night, FFXI becomes the game I ran away from when I first discovered LOTRO.

So yeah, maybe i can just play FFXI during the day, and LOTRO at night.

I don't have a problem. At least I don't have to admit it.

Or, do what I did, and cancel that boring snooze fest that is FFXI.

I'm in like 6 years deep.

I'm like a crack *****, and ffxi is my pimp.

Even when he beats me, I have to come back to daddy. =(

lol, that's sad but disturbingly familiar.

I'm not even being sarcastic with this next line: Try going outside??? Sunlight is good for you.

Ya, I saw Nidhogg rdm tanked and sleep nuked in less than 30 min one day and decided it was time for a change. Ditched my 75 drk/blm/war and Kraken Club the very next day. I still miss it terribly sometimes, but I am loving this LOTR.

It's just such a freeing feeling knowing that I won't be spending 3 hrs a day on each ground king(yes, that's 9 hrs a day of waiting for a pop) only to have 30 linked packet injection bots get claim on it with millisecond accuracy before it loads in my video memory.

But, on the other hand...I am hoping for some sort of endgame out of LOTR. I'm hoping it's not completely void of wanna-be elitists like myself =P.

OH! and gotta love the graphics. No more PS2 limitations!

There's a real world out there too, you might want to try it sometime.

Try to rid yourself of FFXI. Honestly. It's not worth it. I've been clean of FFXI for almost 2 years and it's better! lol

LoTRO is more fun, but there are things about FFXI I miss.

Try RL in the day, and LoTRO at night. :P

I want skill chains. Those were pretty awesome to do. The fellowship maneuvres are similar, but there is one part of the skill chain I really enjoyed: the magic burst part. All of it requires more timing than the fellowship manuevres, making it very interesting to be a part of.

The main thing I hated about it, though, is that I would then be forced to use a certain weapon, even one that I didn't need to skill-up anymore. Eg I enjoyed being a monk who uses a club. The imagery is just funny to me.
