Z-95 Side StrakesFollow

#1 Apr 01 2009 at 8:21 PM Rating: Decent
I crafted a couple of Z-95 Side Strakes, I wanted to see how they would change my ship.
I assumed to apply it would be similar to a texture kit, but the only options available from my inventory are 1.Examine 2.Drop 3.Destroy 4.Repair-1 kit 5.Repair-full

I know I don't want 1 to 3, I tried selecting 4 and 5 but that's to repair the actual item, which requires a repair kit.

I have the Z-95 Headhunter given to me as my starter Rebel ship.

How can I apply this modification?
(it is, as I understand, strictly for looks, it doesn't actually modify or add mass nor drain energy)

(I also tried at the space terminal but there are no options for doing so there)

You have to do it at the ship terminal at the startports. It's like adding new parts. You will see a customization sub catagory.

it seems to be a problem with the starter ship.

I crafted a new Z-95 (what a waste - since I already had one) and with this new ship the category "Chassis Modification" shows up at the ship terminal.

When most people add modifications to a Z-95, It's usually on the high mass varient. Which they use until they qualify for Hyper menuverable ships. So it's worth thier time for the mods. On the regular nugget ships...it's really not worth it.

If you can even find a high mass one for a semi reasonable price, i could only ever find 1 or 2 and then the second one was like 25 million.
