Thirteen1, the completely free-to-read online games magazine, are celebrating their one-year milestone with an exclusive The Lord of the Rings Online in-game item giveaway.

To mark the occasion, Codemasters and Turbine have provided 5000 codes for the highly sought-after Hauberk of the Mithril Guard in-game item– currently unavailable anywhere else!

As always, the magazine is released on the 13th of the month at 1pm (BST) and Thirteen1 will be giving the first 4000 codes away on a first-come, first-served basis - so you can get one right away if you're quick enough!

Don't panic if you're not front of the line though, you'll still have a chance. The remaining 1000 keys will be going into a draw, with the winners randomly selected on May 12th.

So out of interest, how desirable is this item? I'm afraid I'm not the LoTRO player amongst our crew.

I'm just curious, I know there was a giveaway before christmas by MMORPG and Eurogamer. It would be nice to know :D
