So my girlfriend has normally liked playing fighting games against me, as they are not to deep, but up to that she will have nothing to do with gaming.

Well, I got another Xbox360 and didn't have any games she liked. So we went to get another fighting game. Then I saw Eternal Sonata on sale. I showed it to her and she thought it looked cool and sounded neat (co-op was a plus).

Here we are now 1 day later and she has about 7 hours logged. it's been a nice quite gaming day in my house :)

Eternal Sonata is ******* awesome.

Only complain? party gets too big for three people; also, the level 6 party level randomizing your buttons.

Also, try out Tales of Vesperia. It's one of my favorite rpgs ever, and it was make by the same dudes who did eternal sonata.

You can play it multiplayer as well, but only during fights.

I got bored with Eternal Sonata but to be honest I was working alot at the time and rented it from gamefly. Seems like there was alot of mazey dungeons and I got fed up with it and mailed it back since I wanted something else to play. If I had actually bought it I prob would have attempted to play through it. In fact after I finsh up the game I am playing now I might consider picking it up as I imagine its fairly cheap now.

Another good RPG if you haven't heard about it all ready is Lost Odyssey. Only sucky thing about it is the first 4 or 5 hours is harder then crap! I mean seriously you can easily get wiped out by trash mobs just over bad luck. IMO it gets easier after the 2nd real boss fight.

I am a little ways into Disc 2 now (its a 4 disc game) and the story is great. Honestly they could have slapped Final Fantasy (whatever) onto the title and it would have fit right in. I love the storys it tells when you get the "Dream" sequences.

Anyways I think its only like $25 now used at Gamestop (is where I got mine). Like I said the first 2 boss fights are crazy difficult because your party is so limited on what you can do. AFter that it gets alot easier though.

Yea Uematsu has some very creative music. That was the first thing i noticed about FFX-2 was that he didn't do the music and the final product showed. Even FF12 had kinda boring sound.

I think the game BLue Dragon also has music from Uematsu but I could be mistaken.
