Hey all, 1st OT topic Im doing. =D Just wanted to see if anyone else plays valkyria chronicles? So far I started the Blue flame storyline and I must say I am impressed with it. I didnt think they would do anything like this. I guess game developers are getting good at changing their code to add a brand new "Extra" section to their games. I wonder and hope they make a multiplayer addon. =D
Also there is a Anime now as well of the game. 2 episodes so far. =)

It's an SRPG for PS3

It's a very good game, the story is well written and well paced. The gameplay also makes you think alot more strategically than most SRPG's. I like the extra DLC as well, I bought it a few months ago.
Another PS3 RPG I'm looking forward too is Ateiler Rorona, the older ones were kind of lackluster, but this is a fresh new look for the series, so I'm definitely picking this up come late June 09.

And yes the PS3 store has the DLC. The moment you load your game, it will patch and the new extras menu is there. =D
And yea, its 3rd person shooter, but it feels more like Advance wars for the DS in many ways. Game of chess.. unit beats unit, but this unit counters that unit, placement, planning and execute!

The AI in the game is infuriating. Including that one mission where the enemy forces can win if they feel like it.

I have to say that I was slightly disappointed in the new content.
I guess I had assumed that the addons were going to be mini stories with at least 2-3 missions each instead of just one mission with a lot of cut scenes.
But they were still enjoyable.
