I was surprized and a little saddened.Follow

Here there. My name is Lachdannan and I beta tested for this game. Phases 2 and 3 and played EQOA until Frontiers came out. Then I beta tested in all phases for Frontiers and I was very excited. I was in the original Stars of Destiny featuring "Barak" the first paladin on CLW to reach level 50 and get his epic weapon. Those were some times... Anyway I took a break for all I can say is "too long".

I forgot my account password and my email has changed and I cannot recover the old one. So I went ahead and got another copy and am starting fresh. I started a Barbarian Warrior and played for 3 hours without seeing a soul... Finally a level 60 gnome just decides to come strolling through for whatever reason. I'm like "here where is everybody?" and he was just like "not here."

I eventually bought a boon of hagly potion which has been active my entire play period now... I went from level 1 to level 24 in one day pretty much alone.

I don't mind the boon, I still felt like I was achieving my goals. But I was shown this pickclaw invasion quest... It was like cheating, I got a stack of those sashes and turned all of them in for 40k each and the weapons for 80k. The hardest part about this quest was pressing the x and square button so many times!
I am at the point now where this is not really good experience, and am lamenting about accelerating past the lv17 armor quests.
Someone told me its good xp until 30!!! Its damn not!

I long to be in a grind group again, I want to do ALL the quests, I want to earn my achievements "legitimately"... Is there anyone who still plays like this, or is this a new part of the game that I have to accept. That there is not going to be any groups under level 30? I know I should just get there and get in a group at that level, but damn it I liked the first part of the game! It gives you a reason to get all of the main coaches and was an awesome part of the adventure that I feel like I am being cheated out of.

I play on CLW but I no longer have a reason to be anywhere as I do not recognize any players, I have only seen one guild I recognize and it may not even be the same one. "Cosa nostra" which I believe was "La Cosa Nostra" when I was playing...

Is there any old time player that is willing to start a fresh character and play it out? Any new player willing to play as a team to accomplish the little stuff??? I know it might seem pointless but it was a beautiful part of the game that I don't want to lose.

PS: Khal Robe!?!?! WTF!? Wheres my CV!? Wheres my TSR? "Those were pointless, they didn't even have good stats." F*** YOU BUDDY! Warriors don't need dresses anyway!

I'm playing as Lach on CLW, but will move to whatever server grants a promise of the old world... I will play with even just one other person. I will heal or tank, that is all you need, a healer and a tank... HELP!!!!

Well awesome! I won't force you to be anything, just play what you think is fun. I love tank or healer and I had a stint where I could not stop playing a rogue. (It was the tunar) lol

I've never seriously played any other archetype and I don't have to.

I managed to get in a group today (My characters first group and he's level 26...)
it was awesome just like old times. I pulled bandits and undead around darvar,
rolled on some drops, had a good time.
Theres still life yet...

hey there guys and girls i am also a old school player i just came back after being gone for almost a year and im also on clw i do miss playing on the servers specialy my home server which is MF i hope they do something to get this game boomen again and getting the other servers packed full of plp we all need to say something to the powers to be to get this game rocken again.im a die hard eqoa player and i will never stop playing this game

Hey im glad to hear some people still feel the way i do, I can remeber the first day i played this game, ive been hooked ever since. Ive been away for about 2 years and am planning a come back pretty soon, once your group gets near 40 ill join you on my monk, im totaly down with all day grinds were the tank must repair 5-6 times, that **** is great, its too bad sony wont expand the game bcuz i love this ****, anyways im definetly down to xp with you guys, i have a 60 Defender also.
